Aves Insect Dusting Powder (500g)

This product is a complete feed supplement with important vitamins, minerals and trace elements for grasshoppers, crickets, dolas, maggots and wax moth caterpillars. Due to the lack of an internal skeleton, these insects have too low a calcium and vitamin D3 content as feed for birds and reptiles. Calcium, vitamin A and vitamin D3 deficiencies in birds and reptiles can be prevented by dusting forage insects. The content of other vitamins, minerals and trace elements is also greatly improved by the product. This product contains all essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements

Preparation method and dosage:
Moving insects, such as crickets and grasshoppers, are powdered in a high, narrow bucket from which they cannot escape. Moisten insects slightly with, for example, salad oil. Use 4 grams of Aves Insect Sprinkle powder per 100 grams of insects. Sprinkle powder over the insects (use a sieve) and shake everything well. To prevent the escape of crickets or grasshoppers, the birds offer them in tall buckets. To ensure that birds and reptiles do not get too much or too little, it is possible to feed by hand. Slowly moving feeder insects are powdered in low trays.
