The Bird pharmacy against (blood) lice

When infested with (blood) louse, birds are restless, in poor condition and chickens can develop pale combs. If you go through seams and cracks with a knife, you can see blood or black / red dots (lice). Red mites are very persistent and a thorough approach is necessary to get rid of red mites.

In the spring everything in nature starts to move. We also see that insects become active again. Unfortunately, some insects can negatively affect the health of the pet, including birds. That is why we put some effective means "in the spotlight" to optimally protect birds and/or fight parasites. These products are therefore indispensable in your range.

Mite Blocker Combi:
This product has been specially developed for aviary birds and gallinaceous birds such as ornamental chickens, pheasants and quail and their environment. It is effective against red mites, mites, lice, fleas, ticks and other parasites. Mite Blocker Combi works immediately and protects animals and their environment.

Tips Mite Blocker Combi:

•  The ideal alternative to insecticides, suitable for control and preventive use.
•  Can be used in bird cages and chicken coops, as well as on the animal itself.
•  Remember to completely treat any hollow perches ( also the inside) or
   close the perches.

Beaphar 404 Bird Spray:
is a spray for cage and aviary birds and pigeons to combat vermin. Beaphar 404 bird spray is effective against, among other things, red mites and mites. The product works immediately and can be repeated after 1 week.

Tips when using Beaphar 404 Bird Spray:
•   Treat the bird house as well. Especially in the seams and crevices of the cages, the red mite can be found during the day.
•   Always use sprays against vermin in a well-ventilated area, so that the inhalation of mist is limited.
•   Always, in case of infestation with vermin, temporarily clean the accommodation at least twice a week. This will help prevent re-infection.

Anti-red mite strip:
This strip has been specially developed for cage and aviary birds. The strip can be attached around the perches of birds and works against red mite and feather mites. Red mite and feather mites are not only a nuisance for birds, but above all they are also harmful to their health.

Tips Anti-lice strip:
•    Also check whether there are any seams and cracks, where possible these should be sealed. During the day, red mites are not on           the animal, but hide in the environment.
•    Activate the strip by stretching it first. Keep the strip clean by regularly (1x per 2 weeks) removing the dirt with a sandpaper or sharp knife. This reactivates the strip.
•    Do not clean the strip with water, disinfectants or cleaning agents. Strip remains effective for about 4 months with regular cleaning/reactivation.
