Anti-megabacteria (500 ml)
Anti-Megabacteria.
Macrorhabdus ornithogaster or megabacteria can be found in a wide variety of birds, but are mainly found in smaller passerines and parrots (budgerigars, cockatiels, lovebirds).
Macrorhabdus ornithogaster lives in the glandular stomach of the bird, and can cause a stomach infection there. Clinical signs are therefore mainly the result of problems that occur in the gastrointestinal tract, which can manifest themselves as:
- Diarrhea, black stools and/or presence of undigested seeds in stool
- Regurgitate (give up) food
- Delayed crop clearance
- Weight loss and weight loss
We recommend a maximum of 5ml per 1 liter of drinking water. Build this up slowly, your birds may need to get used to the taste.
