Anti-trachea mite (50ml)
Anti-trachea mite (50ml)
When a bird makes a squeaking sound or gasps for air, we call this a trachea mite. Actually, the bird suffers from mucus and bacteria on the airways. If left untreated, it will only get worse. Eventually, the bird will die from suffocation. With 2-3 days 1 drop in the neck or 3-4 days 1 ml on 1 liter of drinking water you help the bird from this.
External conditions such as too high / low humidity and temperature, feed or environmental change, stress can make the illness suddenly acute. From becoming infected with the mite it can take weeks or even months before the symptoms appear.
The bird is usually a bit round and quiet, often has a slightly open beak, which is directed upwards, often rubs the beak over the stick, then shakes his head briefly, as if to squeeze something out of his throat and makes a short sneeze. When you catch it and hold it to your ear, you hear a wheezing, raspy breath. The birds lose their voice. Songbirds can even remain hoarse for up to six months after the condition has been treated.
