Insect patee with only 44mg iron!! (lowest available of all universal feed) per kilo. When a bird ingests too much iron, it mainly accumulates in the liver, which is disastrous for a bird. This is also called Hemochromatosis (Iron overload).

Insect patee of 100% dried insects. With a special method, these insects are caught directly outside and dried in closed enriched flour. This keeps the insects soft, which improves the feed intake. The birds prefer not to eat completely dried insects. By packing the insects directly, this pathee remains free-flowing, which promotes absorption by the birds. Excellent for insectivores, game birds and to increase the protein in your eggfood.

The standard eggfood has up to 18% protein. A bird needs at least 21% protein for breeding. By mixing this Insect patee you increase the protein in your eggfood.

Breeders of white-eyes only bred this bird on this pathee. Ideal for bird lovers who are away from home all day, and still have to feed insects to their birds.

A big advantage compared to live insects is that they can of course not crawl away so that there is always enough for the bird ( s) to include.
